Nope, we are doing a massive restructure of the old variable system (cause it was literally my first attempt at coding and it SUCKED, making things really hard to build on further), meaning save-games will be null and void again. We will have a new starting point at the start of act 3 though.
Great game with and interesting story line, at the moment.
A comment about the combat, mostly about the Susan boss fight, does she have a set pattern of choosing targets, for me it felt random, it also could have been that I killed some of the gangsters but idk. Also I kind of agree with another comment about changing the Susan fight. Because in the story narrative the girls couldn't really do anything to her, the fight should more like be survive for x turn or deal x amount because the longer the fight went on the harder it was to win, effectively turning the fight into a fight of attrition. In this sense a survive for x turn would be a better option. Or another option is to have a fruitless survive x turn then attack Susan with a specific attack combination to take her down.
Just my on thought, but is it possible to save or "help" Susan in anyway, I might some flak for this, but I kind of felt bad for her, but that is me in most games if someone the enemy side is not "evil" per say but is turned evil against their will I feel bad for them and want to help them (even if they helped create a super solder drug, but was thrown in the dumpster, for someone else to get the credit). These are my own thoughts because I haven't played the Susan's spark sub story arc, but looking at the pic for the story I have a feeling it's too late for her.
The recruitable factions coming in update 6 I understand that the brothel girls are 1, but have we met/seen any other recruitable faction or at least their members.
Xici muscle growth yes or no?
Is Gina going to have a metal breakdown like Stella had or something entirely diffrent. Also what happened to Aline, for me it felt like she had the reaction that Diana expected Gina to have when she was injected with the gene therapy serum.
Also how large of a role is Ginas personality going to play in the coming updates?
This is my own guess, the next update is in January, witch is very optimistic on my part, or most likely in spring.
Anyway I liked the game a lot and hope it continues going well because I'm looking forward to it. Good Luck, with your work.
Hi, thank for the detailed feedback. Really appreciate it :D
Susan has a pattern indeed. She switches to the next target in line for every hit she gets, circling through all possible targets from left to right. While I agree by now, that a "survive for x-turns" may make more sense, I'll see if its worth the effort changing the code (I mostly prioritize making new content instead of reworking old). And well, can't get into detail about her story too much, but she will have an important role to play yet.
Let me see, what else:
- Recruitable factions are partly known and partly not. Some old faces will get another appearance, but as the next update focuses on the Velvet Touch recruitment, we have time to spread some more breadcrumbs for the next ones then.
- Big or smoll Xici isn't decided yet. Maybe big, but if so, she'll be the last to grow.
- Mental breakdown for Gina? I'd say she is one of the more stable girls, despite having two imaginary companions. As for her personality, most "first dates" which will be available in the next update (yes, we're slowly getting into the dating game, now that the immediate danger is over) will be a bit different on gentle or dominant. Big changes or endings are planned later on, but for now it's only relevant on the wording of Gina and the dates,
And we are fighting to get the next update out till the end of the year, so let's hope for the best.
Nope, development of the current update is taking a lot of time, since we decided to tackle some backend stuff on the code that's been bugging us for quite a while. We're still at it though and I'll do a Dev-Update here soon (as at least the Patrons will get a little something this week)
I am not sure if this is a bug, but on my current file I cannot seem to get Stella's skill upgrade where she learns pocket sand. Just to be clear, what flags are prerequisite for that event?
I remember just doing it sometime shortly before the endgame last release and now I can't remember exactly how I did.
Hi, Gina needs to be a bouncer and talk to Esmeralda about it. Esmeralda will say it would be nice to always have someone around who's a skilled fighter like Gina. After that a dialogue option should ba available to train Stella.
Hi, could you send over a screenshot or describe when it is happening? Might help me figure out where to look in the code, as we didn't have this report before
Don, first of all, I would like to express my gratitude and admiration to you.
I just recently played through the story up until the latest update. This game is really great. While I root for the main characters, I'm attached to all the enemies. I was moved by the story, it's really interesting. This game gets better with every update.
I want to praise you for something, but I can only express how great you are through suffering. Don, you're a genius. I hope you continue to do good work.
Hi, Rose can only grow to Lvl 1 on this update (train twice with her at the gym, then meet her at the park again).
Since I got a lot of feedback about Rose demanding her to grow along (who doesn't like a muscle mommy/milf๐ ), she will get a bit more screentime on the next update then.
I have to admit, I underestimated this game. I thought it was just another lazy game with AI muscle girls (which is not bad in itself depending on what you're looking for), but a few hours into the game I was having so much fun with Gina and her friends. This game reminded me of the Persona games in the best way, where you have an interesting story while also having fun characters that you want to spend time with. So much so that I got genuinely upset at Jade's storyline where all I wanted was to protect that precious redhead. And Gina might be the best protagonist of this type of game, partially because she is hilarious, but also because we have a proper hand in shaping her personality, which so many "proper" rpgs forget about.
If I have to criticize something would be the combat system. It is well built (especially in a engine that is not famous for its combat), but as some people pointed out in the comments, I feel like all we're missing is some tools to give some depth to it. The enemy positioning system is a good example of a tool that this game does use it well. In that sense, the Persona games (especially the older ones) are a good inspiration, since they can be really difficult, but become easier when you take advantage of what the games gives to you. I'm don't really enjoy "AI art" a whole lot, but clearly a lot of effort was put into giving the images more personality than Ai tends to have.
Also, the game clearly improves in every sense as it goes along (as it tends to with independent games), Game mechanics, story and sprites/animation, so even if the beginning starts slowly it quickly picks up the pace, but it does require more patience than the average ren'py game. So if you just want to see girls growing it might not be the best first option for you, but give it a try if you want a cool game that happens to revolve around muscle girls growing stronger. On a side note, I do worry about the size of the sprites in game, because the girls are already starting to occupy a good chunk of the screen and I don't think like we're halfway their growth.
Overall, It was really fun and a bit stressing (the good kind) during act 2 and I really hope it gets completed. Now if you excuse me, I'm going to arrange the wedding between Gina and Jade that is definitelly happening in one of the endings (fingers crossed).
S-Sry, my man, I won't wreck that happy lil' family of hers ๐ Buuuut, I'm just writing a scene with Mabel and "Auntie Gina" at the petting zoo. (Yes, I know Gina is the WORST adult game main character, taking kids to the zoo instead of blowing some guys. ) Maybe that's a little consolidation?
I'm here to add my part to the very deserved pile of compliments the game is collecting, but first I would like to share a bit of constructive criticism:
About the combat system and the difficulty. I don't think that the game is too difficult, but the player lacks some tools to make the best use of the mechanics and so must rely on luck from the RNG to make up for it. This feeling of lack of control over the fight results is in my opinion what makes the experience frustrating. The thing I felt it was missing the most is a way to tell your allies not to attack for a turn. Many times I would have needed Stella and Akari to stop attacking for one turn to time the breaking of the enemy guard with them using their special ability.
After that the second thing I would have liked to have is a defensive ability for Stella. Gina and Akari have effective defensive moves in the Ginpsy Rool and the Blade Reversal, while Stella has none. This is exacerbated by the fact that despite her high health and armor Stella's low skill ends up making her the squishiest of the playable character.
Related to above, skill based dodging is a much more effective way to limit damage than armor, if this is non by design maybe some re-balancing might be useful.
Another strategic wrinkle that I would love to be able to use is changing the positions of the girls in the grid. For example placing Stella at the center to protect her from flanking assassins and bow users.
Lastly a little suggestion for the boss fight at the end of the "save Jade" quest. The narrative setup is that the girls attacks barely scratch the boss, so they eventually resort to an unorthodox combination attack to fell them. The effectiveness of this narrative beat might be enhanced by having the fight gameplay reinforce it. I see at least two ways to accomplish this; the most satisfying, albeit maybe a little bit more difficult to implement, is to boost the boss armor value so that most attack do zero damage, the set the fight win condition to be lasting a certain amount of turns. The second, easier to implement, but slightly less satisfying is to boost the boss health and set the winning condition as dealing 250 damage instead that taking the boss health all the way to zero.
I hope this doesn't come out as condescending, I just think that sharing detailed feedback is a way to I can use to help.
With that out of the way, time to gush it is. I really enjoyed the game and not only for the sexy. The double gameplay loop prevents any part to become stale even after long sessions and injects some very needed action in the visual novel narrative, which is great to avoid becoming fatigued from reading lots of slowly scrolling text.
The writing is much better than a kinky romp has any right to be. The way it can be silly and self aware, but still being earnestly dramatic when it wants to is absolutely brilliant. I especially liked Xici's meltdown, absolutely gripping, and her picking herself up after touching the bottom was cathartic. Even the fact that Stella surpassed Gina's strength, that initially left me baffled, is then capably used to setup Stella's character arc.
I'm looking forward to the next phase and the reaction from everyone now that Jade and Gina are back and bigger than ever.
I really, really, really hope that, with the Executioner locked in the facility, Xici will find the way to reunite with Jade and start developing a new friendship with her, not based on deception this time. Xici is my favorite character at the moment and I'm rooting that she can mend her relationship with the Greatarm siblings, find her own happiness with people that really care for her and, why not, put a lot of sexy muscles on her frame.
On the topic of the Executioner, I don't believe that she can be loyal to anyone but herself, either the Don has some seriously effective way to control her or she is just waiting for the right moment to betray him.
Thousand thank to the developers for bringing us such a satisfying experience!
Hey, thanks a lot for the kind words and the suggestions. I highly appreciate both, so don't worry about coming off as condescending.
Some of the things you mentioned are planned for the future, like switching character positions (as soon as a fourth fighter joins the fray, though Gina will mostly remain in the middle) and more skills for the characters are of course planned. Also changing the third boss to survive a round of numbers would actually be easy. Might change it or use the concept for another boss, so thanks for that ๐
Some of the limited aspects are intentional though, like Stella being a glass cannon with the highest single-target damage, thus relying on protection of some kind (tug assassins away, tug archers to her side, pocket sand, summoning gnome, Gina's help with block breaking enemies on her flank or simply feed her the healing potions). Admittingly, none of these options are as good as the protection the proper bruisers have, but that is the fate of a damage dealer. My design philosophy was limiting options, therefore forcing the players to make the best of a situation that not always has the ideal answer (for example Akari can skip an attack through Battojutsu, Gina can flank but lose damage, etc.).
Thanks again for the compliment on the writing. We did have a vote about Xici's fate on Patreon in the past, so our little gremlin may yet get her chance at redemption and make up with Jade and the Greatarms. It was a wish shared by the majority of patrons and aligns nicely with our story concept. As for Tanya... you're right on that one. She doesn't even know the meaning of honour or gratitude, but she seems to be loyal. I'm just gonna say that we have some fun plans for her and Susan already.
I completely missed Stella being a glass cannon type of character, it makes a lots of sense. It also fits very nicely with the narrative since Gina and Akary train in martial arts while she doesn't, obviously she wouldn't be as good at defending from enemy attacks.
I was probably blinded by my distaste for high damage-low precision attack and played her in a mostly support role, putting the foe with the least attack output in front of her to minimize the damage she received while using Tug of War intesively for formation manipulation. Often that meant placing an archer in front of her, that she had issues hitting because of the skill difference.
Maybe a more aggressive style, using her to quicky dispatch of high health and low skill enemies, would prove to be more effective. I'll keep it in mind for the next playthrough.
Also, I noticed something suspicious: Gina can use magic and has an evil fighting alter ego and she is aided by a sharply dressed young man that arrives from nowhere, gives a few words of encouragment and disappears without actually doing nothing.
If Xici becomes the antagonistic foil to Gina that undergoes a change of heart and becomes an ally would be the last proof to my scandalous theory: Gina's Gym is actually a Magical Girl Anime in disguise!
I definitely didn't watch an excessive amount of Sailor Moon in my childhood! No magical girls here... and Gina can't even use magic properly, only summon spirits... sooo... A Magical Girl anime, but them transforming also means getting big muscles, now that is something I would watch. ๐
Also, while Stella can deal excessive amounts of damage once her flank is cleared, using her skills defensively was always meant to be a viable approach too. So I think you didn't do anything wrong there ๐
You should tap on the download button in the box with the android logo then it is downloaded you should look in files on your mobile phone and if it is there you should tap on the file and tap on install and it should come as an app on your mobile phone. It worked that way with my android mobile phone.
I've just completed version 6.0.6. Prior to that I'd completed version 4. Version 6 adds so much ! I really really enjoyed this and I highly recommend this game to everyone (over age 18) !!!
Ah, thanks, that clears it up. Yes, Gina already had the chance in update 4 to take Phil out for coffee and we already have another date planned for update 6. Phil was actually the most popular guy in the Patreon poll and will definitely get a romance path with Gina.
I was NOT ready for this. Absolutely blown away by what you've got here. Was fully expecting a little horny game and ended up getting wrapped up in a pretty good story and legitimately likeable characters. Gina is the perfect amount of silly and I'm shocked by how much I like her. On top of all that, you can choose to have her be gentle - seriously, like a dream come true! Hardly any of these one off growth games actually let you choose, and in either case gentle typically isn't an option. It's insane to me that this much work was put in, and I absolutely can't wait to see more. Of course, I want to see more of Gina because who doesn't, but I really want to see where the story goes. It's well balanced between serious, silly, and erotic, so kudos to all the people writing.
That all being said, I haven't composed in a few years so I don't think I'd be much if any help for that, but if you're looking for songs to fill the space in the meantime, plenty of suggestions do come to mind. I also noticed lots of minor spelling errors - figured I didn't need a bug report for that, but I figured I would mention it. If you need an editor to iron all those out, I know I'm just some dork fan, but I'd throw my hat in the ring for that.
Many thanks for the kind words. Hearing things like this is incredibly motivating and I would gladly take some advice on the whole sound and spelling issues (I have someone to proofread my new stuff, but back in the days when this was a solo project, a lot of errors snuck in ๐ )
Do you have a Discord account? Most of the project management is done over my Discord-Server, though I'm open for any type of communication software if we wanna tackle sound-management.
Yeah I've got Discord. Any way I can send that to you privately? I don't mind sending it here if need be but the idea of a bunch of people sending DMs all the time is not all too appealing lol.

hi, first of all, it's an amazing game, I love it.
But I have a problem with the sound not working in the game. I tried to see if it's a problem with my PC, but the sound works. Any advice?
if a new update comes then can i use my save from current version
Nope, we are doing a massive restructure of the old variable system (cause it was literally my first attempt at coding and it SUCKED, making things really hard to build on further), meaning save-games will be null and void again. We will have a new starting point at the start of act 3 though.
Great game with and interesting story line, at the moment.

How do i get access to Lucia's and the Park? i have just unlocked Gina's stage 4
Hey, most locations in town are either unlocked via exploration or dialogue. Lucia and the park exploreable (button down right at the town map)

And also some quests have long guides and they cannot be seen in full because you cannot scroll them.

Also, while Stella can deal excessive amounts of damage once her flank is cleared, using her skills defensively was always meant to be a viable approach too. So I think you didn't do anything wrong there ๐
Can someone show me how to install this on the desktop (mobile) (^ ~ ^)
You should tap on the download button in the box with the android logo then it is downloaded you should look in files on your mobile phone and if it is there you should tap on the file and tap on install and it should come as an app on your mobile phone. It worked that way with my android mobile phone.
hope it works for you!
It is the top download button you should tap on if it is an android device you have.
Thank you. Problem solved
No problem hope you enjoy the storie and the game!
I do not know why, I am the Android area user, but can not download, this makes me very distressed, hope someone can help me
Does the problem still persist? If it does I can reupload or send you the files maybe over Discord.
Thank you for your concern. I changed a browser and the problem has been solved(^.^)
I've just completed version 6.0.6. Prior to that I'd completed version 4. Version 6 adds so much ! I really really enjoyed this and I highly recommend this game to everyone (over age 18) !!!
great game, can you please add the opportunity to fully meet with Philip?
Thanks :D
You have to specify "fully meet" though. Not entirely sure what you're up to ๐
Sorry, English is just not my native language, I wanted to ask to add the ability to date with Philip
Then me meet up on Discord. Link to the game's server is in game description. Looking forward to talking!
